LITTLE SHEPHERD BOY

DANNY'S ENFANT SHEPHERD

Radio Kahuzi photo-journalist, Danny, came upon a very young shepherd boy who saw his camera and said, "I want to do that when I grow up."

He is among the current generation of the world's youth under the age of fifteen. Africa is the continent with the youngest population world wide. As of 2021 around 40 percent is 15 years and younger.

Lord, may he also want to become a Christian when he grows up. The children are no longer in school and find work herding cows and sheep, or carrying heavy loads of rocks, or jerry cans of water on their heads to make a few cents a day.

People under 18 years of age make up over a quarter of the world population (29.3%), and people age 65 and over make up less than one-tenth (7.9%).

There is no time to waste.
Luke 10: 2
"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."

Happy Birthday, Sweet Kathy!

Kathy in the cotton patch at WAMAZA
with one of her many special friends.

Dear Kathy,

So sorry to know that you are ill on your birthday. We are praying for your quick recovery from one of many bouts of malaria.

The Bible tells us about your special life with Jesus at the center:

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

...She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

...Strength and honor are her clothing: and she shall rejoice in time to come.

...She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

...She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

...Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all."

Proverbs 31: 10 - 31
