Radio Kahuzi Journalist, Danny Magadju, covered arrival of first Minister (premier
ministre) SAMA LUKONDE who arrived at Kavumu airport Monday, June 7 at 3 p.m.
The purpose of his visit was to sympathize with the displaced people from Goma resettled at ADI-KIVU in Kavumu (north of Bukavu) where he visited
them and spoke with them this Monday, June 7, 2021.
On the tarmac of airport he was greeted by the Governor of South Kivu, Théo NGWABIDJE KASI, the President of the Provincial Assembly, Paster
Lwamira, the deputies, and the population.
Many families affected by
the volcanic eruption of Nyiragongo in Goma live on the ADI-Kivu site.
He brought them a message of comfort and support from the Head of
State who is to find solutions to their problems in this period of
post-volcanic eruption crisis.
Questions relating to drinking water,
food and housing conditions for these displaced persons still remain a
problem that the central government and people of good will must find
a solution.
The First Minister, SAMA LOKONDE, promised these compatriots
that "a lasting solution to their problem will be found immediately," said, Sama Lokonde.
After discussions with these victims, the First Minister, accompanied by twelve ministers returned to the Capital in Kinshasa.
